Recovery and rain

I'm usually really sad when it rains. It usually means that I have to miss a workout or 2 or go to the gym and workout (boring). However since I've been in recovery mode for the last week and a half I'm feeling a bit different about the rain for these next few days. I'm loving it!!! The smell of rain, grass and even the dogs have a wonderful aroma. Yeah I know your thinking "wet dog"? Yes they smell great. However they don't like the rain because that means they have to go out in the stuff and get wet. They always look at me like WTH?? Now back to my upbeat mood.

Yes I know I've been a real grouch since the injury and even worse since I found out about how bad it is. But I'm done with the overeating and binging on chocolate and I'm focused on a 90 day challenge. I will be logging in my workouts and try to get a plan written down hopefully. I plan to build my core and upper body in 90 days. This will make me stronger in the pool I'm sure or at least I think so. So, since it's raining I'm looking out the windows and really enjoying it because I know I don't have to run or ride in that mess and I'm just working on free weights, yoga and the medicine and bosu ball. That's all I need right now.

I'm still working on my other post regarding 52 weeks of recipes for 2011. Each week a new recipe for me to try. I missed last week so I need two recipe's this week.

So with that I say rain rain please stay another day and bring us beautiful Spring flowers.
